As an Olympics and social media enthusiast, I am very excited for this year’s games. After reading this Mashable article about the first “social games,” I was intrigued by the huge differences between social media for the 2008 summer games versus now. These facts were so striking, I thought they were completely worthy of an infographic to help envision the differences. So I asked the supremely talented Deanne Mroz, Web Designer at Demi and Cooper, to see what she could come up with. Enjoy the article stats in all of their infographic glory:
