Oscar’ Mayer’s latest campaign goes beyond the Weinermobile to penetrate your senses and dive into your dreams! Oscar Mayer recently launched a “Wake Up & Smell the Bacon” campaign, which incorporates visuals, an app, and even a scent to create “a bacon awakening beyond your wildest imagination.”
The “Wake Up & Smell the Bacon” app wakes up bacon lovers to the sound and scent of sizzling bacon! The app works by attaching a device to your headphone jack, activated by the app, that wafts bacon-like oil into the room. To promote the app, they gave away the attachments that normally sell at $35 a piece. Oscar’s scented alarm clock app is the perfect way to wake up users while insuring bacon is their first thought in the morning, possibly second behind a cup of coffee.
This campaign doesn’t stop with a scented alarm clock, it’s accompanied by a dreamy ad that’ll have you sizzling bacon before you can spell ‘B-O-L-O-G-N-A!’ Enough small talk; check out the video below and drool for yourself:
