When StoryBook Homes, a builder in the Las Vegas area, was looking to update their website to a more functional, stylish design that matched their gorgeous homes, they turned to Demi and Cooper. The website lets the model images sing while taking visitors through to the information they need in a natural way.
Organization:
With several neighborhoods and models available, the site needed easy, intuitive organization. Plus, the builder wanted to be able to easily update available homes, features, price, and even to upload entirely new communities and floorpans as they came available. We were sure to keep it simple on both the front end and back end, so the user experience is optimal and the builder can easily keep all communities and homes up-to-date.
One stop shop:
Home information about each model and Quick Move In home is stored in one database on the website. This means that when Storybook Homes enters information about a floorplan—even if the floorplan appears in multiple places on the site—they only have to make the change in one place. In fact, there’s even a “Virtual Tour” box to check if the model has a virtual tour. If so, when that home is featured, a Virtual Tour icon appears. If it’s not checked, the area is blank.
Call to action:
We included several calls to action throughout the site, which keeps users interested through the moment where they submit their interest to StoryBook Homes. When a user submits a form, it goes to the right person at StoryBook Homes who can respond immediately and keep the conversation going.
Brand forward:
We were sure to keep user interest by making the site brand forward—it has a consistent, stylish look throughout, as well as messaging that keeps the top distinguishing characteristics top of mind.
Details:
Like a lot of builders, StoryBook Homes has a lot of information about each available home. We designed a simple, flowing page that can include main details, a Matterport virtual walkthrough, and a gallery of model images, as well as floorpans so homeowners can get a complete feel of each home without leaving their couch!
And of course, StoryBook Homes loves the ability to log in and easily update the site on their own. It was a pleasure to work with StoryBook Homes to make their dream website come true.
